When researchers look at what helps children to succeed, they always find that parent involvement plays a key role. If parents hold high expectations, their children usually live up to them. It's true in academics and athletics, and it's also true for behavior. Strong parental involvement in Evergreen throughout our 40-year history has made our students-and our school-a success.

Volunteering is an excellent way to show your support for Evergreen Montessori and your child's education. Parents help with tasks such as grocery shopping, laundry, accompanying field trips, maintaining classroom facilities, etc. Your volunteer time allows school staff to focus on your children!

A non-profit organization, Evergreen is governed by a board of directors made up of parents. Board members play a vital role in many administrative functions and ensure that the school has the human and financial resources it needs to continue to provide an exemplary Montessori education.
